Three strikers left for Chelsea to sign as Romelu Lukaku confirms Inter Milan stay

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel will be scratching his head over what to do next after Romelu Lukaku’s latest comments.

The Belgian has effectively ruled out a move from Inter Milan in the summer despite growing interest from the Blues.

It comes as the Champions League winners eye a new striker in the transfer window this summer.

Tuchel has made a forward a priority ahead of next season as he looks to build his own squad to battle Manchester City and Liverpool for the biggest prizes.

But the targets are falling thick and fast with Lukaku joining Sergio Aguero and Erling Haaland in the list of no-gos.

So who could Chelsea turn to next?

Andre Silva

If scouts had their eye on Haaland in the Bundesliga, it would have also been impossible to ignore Silva.

The Portugal international has been in jaw-dropping form for Eintracht Frankfurt, who has scored 28 times in 32 league appearances.

It has not been an easy ride for the 25-year-old, who has struggled at AC Milan and Sevilla beforehand.

But his goalscoring antics have got the world’s best paying attention, with City and Barcelona linked with the ex-Porto star.

Andrea Belotti

Once upon a time, Belotti was one of the most prized strikers in the world after a sensational season for Torino.

In 2017, the Italian netted 28 times but a move never went through and he has failed to recapture that form since.

Now aged 27, interest has rekindled in the forward and Chelsea could muscle in if they pushed again for a deal.

Atalanta are reportedly interested in the former Palermo star, affectionately nicknamed Il Gallo.

Belotti will join up with Roberto Mancini’s squad this summer at the Euros and a good tournament could be what convinces Chelsea’s transfer chiefs to make a decision.

Robert Lewandowski

Without a doubt the best striker in the world right now, Lewandowski has been linked with a move to Chelsea in the past.

Despite being 33 now, the Poland international has just had his best season yet – breaking Gerd Muller’s Bundesliga record with 41 goals in the league this year.

However, rumours have spread that the veteran ace has his sights set on a new challenge and Roman Abramovich is a known fan of the ex-Borussia Dortmund star.

Lewandowski and the Russian owner have the same agent, Pini Zahavi, while the striker has won everything he can with Bayern.

While at the weekend, he did little to dampen speculation that his time with the German giants could be over.
