Mino Raiola delivers fresh Erling Haaland transfer update as Chelsea and Man Utd prepare move
Erling Haaland has been strongly linked with a move ahead of the summer transfer window, with Chelsea and Manchester United among the clubs interested in the Dortmund striker.
Borussia Dortmund will not be selling Erling Haaland this summer, according to Mino Raiola.
The Norwegian international has been strongly linked with a move away from Dortmund, with Chelsea and Manchester United among the clubs interested in signing the hotshot striker.
Real Madrid have also been linked with signing the 20-year-old, who has scored 39 goals in 42 appearances for club and country this season.
That form has led to increased speculation over his future ahead of the summer transfer window, with Haaland one of – if not – the most coveted striker in world football.
But Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola has spoken out about the future of the striker, following talks with Dortmund
“I can confirm that I was in Dortmund for talks,” he said.
“Michael Zorc made it clear to us that BVB Erling does not want to sell this summer. I respect that opinion, but what does not automatically mean that I also agree. BVB were very clear in their views. We are okay with that. ”
Raiola’s comments come after Borussia Dortmund’s sporting director Michael Zorc recently said that the Bundesliga side had “very clear plans” to start next season with Haaland.
Dortmund’s stance will come as a big blow to Chelsea, United and other interested clubs, who had been hoping to land a huge coup in the summer transfer window.
Haaland does have a release clause in his Dortmund contract which would allow him to leave for £68million, although that does not come into effect until the summer of 2022.
