Marina Granovskaia makes three transfer decisions as Chelsea's 2021/22 squad takes shape

Marina Granovskaia has already made three Chelsea transfer decisions ahead of this summer.

That’s according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who reports the Blues are already making headway in offloading three of their players.

Chelsea are expected to spend big again this summer with a top-class striker on the wishlist, but with a quality squad bursting at the seams after more than £250million spent last summer, departures are also expected.

And one of the players who is likely to depart is Victor Moses, who has spent time on loan with Spartak Moscow this season, his sixth loan spell during his time at Stamford Bridge.

And Romano claims Moses is likely to join Spartak on a permanent deal with an ‘agreement’ already reached between the two clubs.

And what’s more, he reports Tiemoue Bakayoko and Emerson Palmieri will also be offloaded ahead of next season, the former currently on loan with Napoli, while Emerson is out of favour under Thomas Tuchel.

Bakayoko joined Chelsea on a £40million deal in 2017, but he only managed 29 league appearances, spending three seasons out on loan to date.

With just one year remaining on his contract from this summer, it now looks as though he is going to be offloaded as the Blues look to make at least some money back from the midfielder.

Emerson, meanwhile, is also out of contract in 2022, and with just 15 appearances across all competitions this season, he is expected to leave to get more regular opportunities.

Beyond those three likely exits, Fikayo Tomori could also leave with AC Milan holding an option to buy in the centre-back’s contract worth just over £24million.

Tomori has impressed at AC Milan, so it is likely the Italian giants will activate the clause, but they will decide next week, according to Romano.

“Chelsea are already working to sell players,” he wrote on Twitter. “Victor Moses will join Spartak Moscow on a permanent deal, agreement reached.

“Tiemoué Bakayoko and Emerson Palmieri will also leave the club this summer. AC Milan will decide next week about Fikayo Tomori [€28m buy option].”
