Let him get revenge on Chelsea: Ex-Arsenal talent urges Gunners to sign £73m striker

Arsenal may well need a new striker this summer, but it may not be a big name arriving at the Emirates Stadium.

Alexander Lacazette is out of contract in 2022, and Eddie Nketiah finds himself in a similar boat, meaning there could be changes this summer.

Rather than go for a big name, it seems more likely that Arsenal would target a striker with real potential, such as an Odsonne Edouard or Patson Daka.

It may be worth keeping tabs on Inter Milan’s situation though, as the Serie A champions are struggling for cash at the moment.

That means key players could be on the move, and Romelu Lukaku may well leave the San Siro after just two years in Italy.

Inter agreed a huge £73million deal to sign Lukaku from Manchester United in 2019, and he has been a phenomenon with 64 goals and 16 assists in 95 games.

Chelsea want to re-sign him according to The Guardian, but former Arsenal winger Sanchez Watt is urging the Gunners to make a move of their own.

Watt spent 15 years in the Arsenal setup and clearly still loves the club even eight years after his exit, and believes Lukaku is the man to take Arsenal forward.

Watt suggested on Twitter that Arsenal need to sign Lukaku and unleash him to get revenge on Chelsea and Manchester United for selling him in the past – but a deal would surely be beyond Arsenal financially this summer.
