On Monday reports claimed that the Premier League champions had made a bid of £100m for the Tottenham Hotspur and England striker as speculation regarding his future continues.
However, sources inside Tottenham and City have indicated to football.london that no bid is on the table and there is nothing currently happening surrounding Kane’s future.
Furthermore, Spurs’ stance has always been that Kane is not for sale this summer which is also a blow to Chelsea who have been tipped to make a move for the Three Lions captain.
But despite this, some Blues supporters think Man City have made their decision on which striker to target this summer.
Just like Chelsea, Pep Guardiola’s side have also been linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland.
It’s almost certain that the Norway international’s future will dominate the summer transfer window as he is one of the most sought-after players in Europe right now after netting 41 goals in just 41 appearances across all competitions this season – including 10 in the Champions League.
So where will he eventually end up?
Well, some Chelsea fans think Haaland is Stamford Bridge bound amid those reports of City making a ‘£100m bid’ for Kane.
Take a look at what’s been said on Twitter…
@Jerone_876 said: “This will pressure CFC to bid for Haaland because most top strikers are soon to be gone.”
@CFCJeremy1905 said: “Clear run at Haaland.”
@OllieGlanvill said: “City officially moving for Kane ramps up the Haaland > Chelsea stuff of course. They’re the only other club truly interested…”
